This image shows the left side of a skidder-winch that I built from scratch. Everything painted in light grey I welded from 2" x 3" angle iron 3/16" thick. This device is attached to the tractor using a category I three-point hitch. At the bottom of the skidder-winch there is a lower link (part of the three point hitch of the tractor) extending out from the tractor that attaches to a pin on the skidder-winch. Another lower link arm is on the other side of the device. The upper link is that single arm extending slightly up from horizontal which attaches to an upper link pin that is hard to see in this picture. The black device mounted at the angle with an arm with a black knob at the top is the hydraulic control which runs the hydraulic motor in forward or reverse.
